What's great about it: Very easy to move around and understand what benefits you can expect to recieve

I find this program very easy to download and use, and am confident that the accounting is accurate. It helped me find deductions I wouldn't have thought of on my own. When I used an tax person in the past, he made a mistake that cost me a lot of money, even after I had paid him 3 times the amount it cost me to purchase this program.
What's great about it: easy to use, simple instructions
What's not so great: doesn't make it clear when you purchase that you'll still have to pay a fee for filing the state taxes

I have been a Turbotax user for years. This was the first time I needed to use the "Free tax advice". I was very impressed with their knowledge, questions they asked, and advice they gave.
What's great about it: easy to complete return, guided interview, useful help functions.
What's not so great: somewhat cumbersome to try alternative filing options.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Got it Done. Quick. Accurate

Made it as painless as possible even when it turned out I owed Uncle Sam $1200. Hey, not TurboTax's fault.
What's great about it: I like the clickable explanations for forms and laws I wasn't sure of.
What's not so great: Disappointed I had to pay extra for the state return even with the Deluxe edition.

1099-c from bankruptcy

The form 982 was not referenced or linked to the 1099-c, but I was able to add it via the forms icon. A link (or at least the form number) would have been very helpful.
A help text indicating that Chapter 7 or 13 bankruptcies are part of Title 11 would have saved time and apprehension. I had to go to a bankruptcy attorney to learn that Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies are all subparts of Title 11, and therefore block 1a of the Form 982 applied to my situation.
What's great about it: Got it entered without a tax consequence
What's not so great: Had to use the forum data base to learn how

e-file was rejected and TurboTax show me the error
