Turbo Tax Review

I like Turbo Tax for filing my taxes. I can usually can get through it in a short amount of time. I especially like the new items added such as the adding the choice of the Federal Employee Retirement form.
What's great about it: Most user friendly program I have used
What's not so great: I am struggling with getting an amended return completed.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. Every year it seems to get slightly better. No giant leaps and bounds. Just solid steady improvement each time. I trust the outcome every year for our family.
What's great about it: Looks at all your possible outcomes
What's not so great: Not a fan of the updates

The only downside to using TurboTax is that I still have to pay taxes. The only improvement I can see is adding a section that would refund all the taxes already taken. I've used this product for many years and have never had a problem - thanks to the folks at TurboTax.
What's great about it: Very user friendly, even for an older person who's falling behind the technology curve. Logical flow and great answers.
What's not so great: Haven't seen any weaknesses during the years I've used it.

2012 Turbo Tax Review

The one big thing I would like to see added is a work sheet for my FAFSA application. The Tax software I used before Turbo Tax printed that out form me at my request when I was done with my tax preparation.
What's great about it: Ease of use. Accuracy. Imports previous years results. Keeps track of account numbers.
What's not so great: No Help with FAFSA data

easy to load the software and follow the step by step guides the pop up widows are short and to the point with more information if you what it. The question are easy to look at getting a max deductions and finding answers. Took me two days to start and finish my return.
What's great about it: Stright forword and easy
What's not so great: no con this year

I've used Turbo tax for years and each year it gets easier. The days of picking up forms in the USPS is gone, for me, Turbo Tax is here to stay.
