I am not organized enough to use a tax professional...I need TT so I can be reminded of what information and documents I need in my own home with my files and computer records while I'm preparing my return at the last minute!
What's great about it: TT walks me through the process and helps me remember what records I need
What's not so great: none that I can find

Turbo Tax was a great way to file my taxes for the first time. I t was simple and easy.
What's great about it: Fast and Easy

Good refunds

I've used TT for several years. It uses plain English to guide me through all the forms, but sometimes I wish that the explanations had more details. A few times, I've tried to use the community help but found it irrelevant, poorly written -- worthless. The popup help pages contain good information, but the text is so small that it's difficult to read. Please up the font a couple of point sizes. I'd rather scroll than struggle to read. Otherwise excellent software.
What's great about it: It seems to get me through all I need
What's not so great: Community "help" is worthless

worked great for another year

Overall a great product that I feel is more accurate than a tax accountant. I work in a payroll department and get a lot of calls from tax preparers that cannot understand their own software when a person works in one state and lives in another and does not have a resiprosaty agreement how it is reported on the W2's and how to apply it on the tax return. I do not have a degree in accounting but even I know how it is suppose to work and TurboTax did not have a problem with my husband's income in another state.
What's great about it: Easy

Stair steps to completion

This was the easiest tax return I have completed in the last 5 years. In previous years it took up to 4 days to successfully complete Turbo Tax. This version took only 1 night to complete! Keep up the good work.
