I use turbo tax every year and have always been very satisfied with the convenience and the easy to find information needed.
What's great about it: easily guided through process
What's not so great: ability to download turbo tax on 4/14 unavailable

Fastcuracy Tax Filing

I used Turbotax for over 20 years. Before i used to do everythings by hand whereas i have to obtain all the IRS pamphlets and read them up before i can start filing. It was so much time consuming, and i might still make mistakes. With Turbo Tax, it's like a breeze. I can finish the tax return in a couple hours and feel confident about it and sleep good at night.

Thank you, Turbo Tax, for enabling me to complete our own tax returns without feeling like we have to pay a professional. The ease and comfort in knowing you can make sure we "cover it all"is very important!
What's great about it: Very very easy and user friendly
What's not so great: Didn't get a refund :( (but not really the fault of TT!)

Very good product with - ease of use

This is a great product with ease of use and follow through to create the final tax return. Help information available throughout the program to assist the user in making the appropriate decisions.
On the advise of a friend, I tried a different tax product a few years ago that was terrible. The following year, I went back to Turbo Tax and will not change again. I have used this product for at least ten years and every year it gets BETTER!
What's great about it: Option for walk through
What's not so great: Changing Martial Status did not remove all required fields

Cost effective, but more needed support

Have been using turbo tax for several years and have found it easy if you are and expert in doing taxes. If you know have some knowledge then you can still make this program work well, but you will have questions while doing it. That is where I am at. I did not know I could deduct meals that I buy for my staff with my own money to eat while staying at work. Falls under business lunches, but you have to dig deeper into the IRS files to find it. I did not keep those receipts from last year or prior. I have missed some this year, but will start from here on out. I also didn't know I could deduct the miles for every non-profit organization I volunteer at or donate at. Example: drop off clothes at goodwill, add those mile to center and back. This program has become a lot better since I first started using it and started using It's Deductible Online. You should still be honest with everything you type into the program unless you want to draw red flags upon yourself.
What's great about it: All tax laws in one little box.
What's not so great: More program support and ideas for business and non-profit deductions

Taxes made easy

Turbo Tax was easy to use and the explain this was very helpful. I liked the up-load from last years return. Made things go faster. Will use again

Take away the pain

Turbo tax helps me to file my taxes, I like that I can import all of my schedule D infromation from my broker.
