Works well for us

Have used the program for 10 years and it has steadily improved over time. Our taxes aren't too complicated, but they aren't EZ or 1040A. The program has provided more than enough support so I can make sure we're complying with regulations and maximize our return with confidence.
What's great about it: Lays out form path well, easily understood, eliminates need to hunt for forms
What's not so great: For me, none.

Turbo Tax did a fantastic job with everything. I have an accounting background so I know what is needed and this definitely did the job. Thank you so much! And the cost is far less than what it would be to hire an accountant. Keep up the good work as I've used this software for the last five years!
What's great about it: Very easy to follow and very easy to use.
What's not so great: Everything was fine...no cons

Overall love the product, feel confident that I got the biggest refund available. I did have some trouble when returning to the federal return after working on my state return. The state walk through asked me a bunch of questions which I answered but then when I went back to federal all the information pertinent to those questions got flagged as potential problems and I had to insert zero values in all the lines manually. Still a great experience.
What's great about it: So convenient and easy to use the walk through
What's not so great: Some cross over issues between state and federal

each time I returned to took too long to load the program and my existing return.
also very annoying to have updates to download on 4/9.
What's great about it: linked states x 2 to federal and auto populated
What's not so great: slow to load

Good product after you learn to hit yes or start

The product works very well. My only recommendation is that if the software already knows something does not apply to me, mark it as such instead of asking me if I want to look into it. Don't make that additional mouse click necessary - they add up.
What's great about it: Clearly told you what you needed to work or worry about, but see cons
What's not so great: Too many "do you think" and "do you want to" questions
