Bugs

After a week, software crashed and refused to run. Had to be reloaded. Reloading was buggy and had to be redone after a second complete removal.
Software claimed it did not have 1040EZ form to file return. Apparently bogus message.
Numerous times update download crashed. Had to go to website to get updates.
Most bugs since 2004.
What's great about it: Very simple, very fast
What's not so great: Software buggy

EASY TO USE

too many questions, some questions not required based on prior answers to questions. prints forms that may not be needed the following year without asking if you want them printed first.
What's great about it: WORKS
What's not so great: TOO MANY QUESTIONS, PRINTS FORMS YOU MAY NOT NEED TO USE AND THIS TIME DOES NOT ASK IF YOU WANT TO PRINT OR NOT

Not as flexible or intuitive as previous issues

We have used TurboTax for years and have been very satisfied. In this version, we had to constantly try to figure out very simple things. Instructions were not as clear as they could have been. It felt as if the purpose of the program was to sell us additional programs rather than to provide a flexible and intuitive experience.
What's great about it: Step-by-step very clear
What's not so great: Could not easily navigate where I wanted to go

California Sate Returns

Spent way too many hours trying to file Califoria State taxes and kept getting an error for Form 3540.
I will not use Turbo Tax next time I do taxes.

Can't ask for more!

This product simply gets better every year! I've been using Turbo Tax for 10 years, and this is the best yet. It always has been relatively easy, but this year the simple addition of letting me know what information that i needed to gather, really helped.
I appreciate not have the videos play at the beginning of each section. That slowed me down in the past. Clearly you've listened to your customers and it shows.
What's great about it: So easy
What's not so great: none from my pov
