No worries

I love turbotax! I have used it for several years and it is a great program. It is less stress. Simple to understand. No worries about filling out something incorrectly. I recommend this to EVERYONE. I love that prior years are transferred. Makes it so much easier. The step by step questions make it easy for ANYONE to do their own taxes. The best thing is not handing over all your personal information to a tax preparer. The less people that have the power of having all of my info, the better.
What's great about it: Simple, Easy to understand, fast

Always Easy

My wife and I have used TurboTax for 7 years now and have always enjoyed the ease of the program and the step-by-step guidance for extra deductions. It makes the tax season a much less stressful event and we continue to avoid having to hire a tax accountant.
What's great about it: Step-by-step guidance
What's not so great: Little spendy...but worth it
Pros: I moved, I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Have been using TT Deluxe for years and it seems to be easier every year. This years was was no exception. Had Long Term Capital Gains this time and even without using TT Premier it was easy to fill in the blanks and then review the forms and worksheets that were provided. I also did the LTCG using just IRS forms and workbooks before using TT as a self check on my understanding. Using TT was much easier than what I had to without TT.
What's great about it: Very easy to use.
What's not so great: Didn't have any this year.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years, and it is excellent.
Each year it becomes easier to use and the directions are clearer. I recommend it for anyone who is planning to do their own taxes for the first time because it is user friendly,

TurboTax continues to impress me with the easy to navigate workflow and consistent information to keep you apprised of what can/can't be leveraged. Great great program and see ya in 2014!!
What's great about it: Easy to work through - navigate - questions - very well done
What's not so great: Myself/friends use an external drive to store past TT files. TT doesn't find these files resulting in data re-entry

So logical and easy

I always feel assured my return is complete and correct. Why pay for a person's services unless your situation is very complex? And why do it yourself if your itemizing makes the EZ form not the best for you? TurboTax is the great compromise.
What's great about it: Systematic - reminds me based on input from last year

Easy to correct and double check errors this year.
What's great about it: cleaner and easier to efile return
What's not so great: concerned with security. turbo remembered my checking acct number info from last year. not sure i like that
