Turbo Tax is so, so easy to use. I wonder why those who could do it themselves for less don't.
I think it forces you to at least acknowledge your finances whether you want to or not by going through it with you section by section.

What's great about it: So, so easy.
What's not so great: Charging so much for states where you can file for free? Really?

The Gold Standard

Turbotax really makes filing your taxes as easy as it can possibly be. The format is straightforward and the program guides you through the process... it's really that simple.
The error checking and audit risk information is very useful. My one regret is that I could not find the comparison of my numbers with people with similar income. In past versions of the program there has been a summary of your information side by side with a typical/average person in your bracket. I find it interesting to compare their deductions with mine... it always made me feel like I should be donating more (or finding other ways to get deductions...).

What's great about it: Simple, guided layout
What's not so great: Comparison with similar filers is not part of 2012

Good but room for improvement

I accidentally included a Form 8346 in my return. I discovered my mistake later, and I went back and told it "no" that I didn't have the form. It didn't delete form from my return. When it came up in the error check, it should have given me the option to remove the form later.
What's great about it: The step by step guide is easy
What's not so great: accidentally included form was difficult to get rid of later
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Itemized Deductions Rock

I love the fact that I can opt into itemizing deductions, which is a huge benefit every time we clear out the garage and donate to the Salvation Army up the street. It is win/win for both of us!

I have used Turbo Tax for the past five years,I like that it imports all of your previous return data right into the current year,no searching for info,easy to e-file,and the help line is very informative if you have questions.Overall great product and easy to use
What's great about it: really love the way Turbo Tax walks you through every step...
