Makes taxes easy

Quick and easy. TurboTax does a great job of making something as complicated as the tax code easier to handle by breaking it into small easy questions. I have recommended Turbo Tax to friends and family before and will continue to do so.

Easier than a CPA!

Overall, I'm very positive about Turbo Tax! I've used it the last several years to file my taxes. Compared to what a CPA charged the last year I used one, the cost is extremely reasonable.
The only way the cost is reasonable is if the product is usable. TurboTax has been extremely easy to use. If you have all your documents together, then TurboTax walks you through the process requesting relevant information.
There are also informational links for each item. Here is the only downside I have seen. For some of the less obvious deductions (work related expenses, etc..), some of this information could be expounded upon.

Using same product since 1992 before it was TTax

Thinking it was called Tax Cut or Tax Mate developed in Hiawatha, IA (Cedar Rapids) in the early 90's. Software has improved every year since then. Thank You Turbo Tax!!!
What's great about it: Easy. Fast. Reliable. Inexpensive.
What's not so great: Support via phone lacking on weekends
