Just fill in the blanks . I like to fill it in as each 1099 comes in and then reveiw later.

Very handy, especially when you wait until the last minute to do your taxes. Didn't take long at all. Glad to know someone is checking me.
What's great about it: Asked me questions wouldn't have thought of asking.
What's not so great: Sometime questions are vague.

Turbo Tax Is Wonderful Year After Year

Turbo Tax is a wonderful program! Someone else did my taxes for most of my life. After my divorce, I began using Turbo Tax for the first time to complete my taxes. I was afraid at first because no one wants the fear of an IRS audit potentially hanging over their head. The help screens allowed me to learn a great deal about applicable tax laws. I always recommend Turbo Tax to my family, friends, and co-workers every year.
Thank you Intuit for creating such a great program!!!
What's great about it: Turbo tax guides me through what would be an extremely complicated manual process for me.

Tax Return Completed!!

Overall the quality of the product, ease of input, ease of return completion is amazing. I will definitely use the product again.
A couple of suggestions would be:
1) to allow for easier changes to input such as for Schedule C, rather than requiring the multiple beginning screens to be gone through, when that input was already provided once. And the reason for revisiting is changing/review numeric input.
2) Printing options are confusling. Never could figure out how to input various screens along the way. Program should allow for screen shot printing.
3) Another printing issue -- the forms that TurboTax has as necessary include a "thank you" letter. Really??? I could not see how to reduce some of the printing pages. I would like to have printed out less -- saving ink and paper.
Also, Turbo Tax wanted to print out Federal return pages to go with Oregon return. Although that would be true if I had paperfiled, when electronically filing and keeping only paper copies as yet another form of backup, I did not see the need for these extra pages. No way to get around it that I could easily find.
4) Had trouble getting from the screen where I had to pay for the state Efile, back to completing the efile. Of course, payment for the efile was required before anything else could be accomplished. Frustrating. I paid by credit card, but then could not get back to the efile screen. I had to close down and go at it again. Thought I was going to be charged twice, but eventually it recalled the payment and let me go beyond. Not a smooth part of the system.

What's great about it: Easy to Understand. Covers the areas well
What's not so great: Revision/Review process slow. Difficult to get to the screen that you want to make changes to. Problems with printing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I've used TurboTax for over a decade and it's simply the only way to prepare taxes.

Wow-first time user!

First time user of TurboTax. I will use again next year for sure! I found it very easy to use, it offered many options and suggestions for me, I saved $$$ since I completed taxes myself, and it did not take very long to do both Federal and State Returns. THANKS!
What's great about it: Very Easy to complete...easy to understand and offers many great explanations options
What's not so great: Didn't find any thing I didn't like...

I used this last year and it seemed so much easier this year. I love that it imported all of my info in from last year so that i didn't need to dig out the old files. Quick and easy!
What's great about it: Easy navigation, easy to go back to check and change anything already entered
