TT "Returns" again!

Turbox Tax makes it fast and easy so anyone with or without tax experience can file their own personal income tax, even with itemized deductions.
What's great about it: Step by step and easy to understand.
What's not so great: 1. Over priced. 2. Had a little trouble reviewing the worksheet break down for the state and local sales tax.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2012 TAX

A little frightening for the first time - I seemed to be directed too many times to review the same information but now that I'm done and even more so when I see my refund, I'm very happy that I did this. Next year will be easier.
What's great about it: fabulous customer support
What's not so great: not sure

America's Best Tax Program

TurboTax is America's BEST Home Tax Program.... A few of my friends used another brand, this year I talked them into switching to TurboTax. All of them feel better about their taxes being done right. They are now confirmed TurboTax users in the years to come. If you try it....you'll ALWAYS use it!!!

tired program

Had to go through all the education deduction calculation just to tell me that I was a dependent on my parent's taxes and couldn't claim it. Turbo Tax knew prior to making me enter all the information that I am a dependent so I should have just skipped the whole section
After telling TT that I have no other income to report, it asks me about foreign investments three times - I guess I wasn't clear when I said I had no more income to report
What's great about it: none
What's not so great: made me go through education deduction calculation
