Better Late Than Never

Overall I was satisfied with the product.
If the product says includes state return, I assume the filing fee is paid for as well. Easy to follow instructions and software answers questions along the way.

Incredibly User-Friendly!

The review process errors were not completely intuitive. The help button didn't help much. Plus, there were no instructions on how to delete the return.
What's great about it: Guides you thru every tax item with ease & clarity
What's not so great: Filing process a little confusing

Turbo Tax

Program loaded and checked for updates with now problems (YEA Great). Went through the whole thing with little or no required questions about why or what you were doing. I had a question about my son working while going to school. I believe I received the correct answer. Had to buy another copy of TurboTax in order to do mine and his taxes. I would like to see a bundle for Mom & Dad with son or daughter. This is the first time I had to file my sons because he had worked. Overall Very GOOD program with not many I would say that about. Thanks Keep up the good work with this and other programs like quicken. Have a good day.
What's great about it: Step by Step navigation
What's not so great: Questions sometimes were not answered to the degree that I needed.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Simple solution for a complex system

I'v used Turbo Tax for 15 years and although the tax laws have become progressively complicated, Turbo Tax find ways to make the filing process simpler year after year.
What's great about it: Simple as 1-2-3; just fill in the blanks.
What's not so great: I'm still thinking...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Love My Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for several years. I started using Turbo Tax on the recommendation of a friend. I had gone to a tax service and didn't appreciate all the fees. The first year I used Turbo Tax I received a larger refund without all the fee expenditure. I will continue to use Turbo Tax for future returns.
What's great about it: It was very easy to use. When I had a question, I could find my answer.

It makes the whole process much easier. I used to spend hours with a tax preparer and spend over twice what it cost me to do my taxes myself. I do not have any accounting experience and Turbo Tax makes the whole tax preparation experience easy and less stressful. I like working on my taxes at home and not having to cart all of my papers to a tax preparer and run back to my house because I forgot something.
What's great about it: The walk through feature
What's not so great: Hard to edit just one item
