Stay backwards compatible to older slower sytems and software, some still trust Old Faithful to run secure programs and as done for 2012 things ran without a hitch just slower.
What's great about it: looked everywhere for deductions

Turbotax is a real life saver

I love TurboTax. I used to us a CPA and I found that with TurboTax detailed questions that I actually got bigger refunds back. They explore every possible place that I could claim a deduction no matter how small. They all count. I have been using Turbo tax now for 4 years and I can't imagine not using them. I get to do my taxes in the privacy and comfort of my own home and with their audit defense program, I always feel covered should an issue ever arise. I highly recommend Turbo Tax to all my friends.
What's great about it: It's super easy and it reminds of areas where I can earn deductions that my accountant never asked me about.
What's not so great: I can't think of one.

I really found it easy this year. Every year it just gets better. I do wish it would ask for a file name up front for the final document.
What's great about it: Really straight forward and great navigation
What's not so great: Tax file naming is weak

Once again TurboTax got me through one of my least favorite activities with the least amount of stress. Finding and sorting all of my documentation was the tough part-TurboTax takes care of the rest!
What's great about it: TurboTax autofills and imports lots of stuff.
What's not so great: It can't do everything for me.

All in all, a reasonably simple program to use with plenty of guides and assistance along the way. We have used Turbo-Tax for years and have been satisfied every time (with last years exception).
What's great about it: Ease of Use, completion of tax filing
What's not so great: Sometimes confusing line of direction the program gives

I am a procrastinator and every year, regardless of whether I'm paying or receiving a refund, I do my taxes on the 14th or 15th. I'm always nervous that "this will be the year" something happens like the import doesn't work or I can't t fingure something out. I've been using Turbo Tax for about 5 years and I've never run into an issue. I especially appreciate the fact that I can save the files on an SD card use different laptops year to year without compatibility issues.
The software has always been easy to use, user friendly and ghas easy to interpret info when you click for Help.I wouldn't think of using anything but TurboTax.
What's great about it: Quick and Easy!

Easy to use. I have been using Turbo Tax for years. Thanks for your product. I did not like the idea that intuit expected me to purchase an upgraded version to handle Employee Stock Purchase Plan easier. How much more code really was that. Just include that function. I didn't bother purchasing that, please include it in the base version next year.
What's great about it: Easy questions to answer
What's not so great: Handling of ESPP
