As painless as possible in the USA

Turbo tax simplifies the process for the labyrinth of US federal tax codes as much as possible.
What's great about it: Covers only necessary details
What's not so great: US tax codes and processes are unnecessarily complex. Program should not keep mentioning State income tax (TX res)

More Questions/Answers dealing with retirees are needed. Retirees sections could be separate for the ease of retirees.

Finished in the nick of time!

I waited until the last minute, but with TurboTax's help I got it done in the nick of time. This was my first year using a HSA. I thought TurboTax could have done a better job making the HSA input easier. I thought it was confusing, was not sure what box to enter my numbers into.
What's great about it: Fast and easy. TurboTax walks your through it all step by step.
What's not so great: First year with an HSA and I thought TurboTax was not as clear as it could have been on the HSA details.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax has always been my go-to every year for taxes. With the import option it makes it super fast and easy. When you have changes from the previous year you need to make sure it does not include those forms in your return.
What's great about it: Fast and Easy
What's not so great: Changes from Last Year.

We have been using TurboTax for over 15 yrs, LOVE IT! Has worked great for us every time. Would not use anything else. Thanks for the great step by step process that makes it easy for anyone to use.

Help I owe taxes again

Turbo tax is very easy to use. I like that it asks us about various income and deductions. I wouldn't have know about the retirement savings credit. I really appreciate that it explores all avenues.
What's great about it: easy guide
What's not so great: Didn't have milage this year but wanted us to file that form anyway.
