I want $100

i love turbotax and have been using it for many years. i got frustrated the past two years because i could no longer upload turbotax to my desk top, it just would not work. the file gets too big and my older computer just could not manage all the processes. would be nice if turbotax keep to a more simple, lower file size software.
What's great about it: reliable
What's not so great: hard to go back to make correction on selection between sales tax or standard deduction

Taxes Done!

Overall great option for preparing taxes. Have used product for over 20 years.
Saves time and reduces errors by importing personal information from prior years of Turbo Tax plus importing of financial data from banking institutions.
Will use product again.
What's great about it: Easy to use, love financial data import feature
What's not so great: Prints only to PDF not direct to printer.

Have used TurboTax for several years. Appreciate the down loadable update of prior years information and the improving process.
What's great about it: Convenient menu driven process.
What's not so great: Not always an understandable question.

Met my expectations

For the first time in 10 years of using Turbo Tax I had difficulty downloading the state. I called and spoke Adrian who was AWESOME. He helped me download and I was on my way! Thanks Adrian!

Easy as pie

It was as always an easy file and I appreciate the hard work that goes into keeping it such.
What's great about it: I have used it for years and between importing the prior year and my w2 it takes only minutes to complete.
What's not so great: There is a lot of extra things that I go through that say "rare" or the like. Its just extra that could be lumped togeth

As usual, the Fed portion was excellent! Everything was well-covered, offering explanations for all!
The state portion (PA) gave no option to calculate state tax on out of state purchases when there were no saved receipts but a general total might be known, other than the maximum amount of tax. Tables were referenced but never made available. Tremendously disappointing, very unrealistic.

What's great about it: Explanations available for "legalese" terms and government terminology for taxes.
