Love Turbo tax

I am an accountant, a controller for a construction company, and I would not think of doing my taxes any other way. I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years and love it. It is easy to use, flexible and gets right to the crux of any issue.It fantastic
What's great about it: Ease at which to do the tax returns

Quick and Simple

I'm a procrastinator...wait for the very last day to file my taxes both federal and state. I paid for the disk and received it in December so all I had to do was pop it in my pc and it's off to the races! It walks you through step by step so you don't miss a thing! You can e-file immediately after and be on your way! My advice...Just Do It!
What's great about it: They explain everything and it's all step by step easy to understand
What's not so great: I don't have any cons

20 years now...

I've used TurboTax on a Mac, a PC and as of yesterday, the on-line free edition doing taxes not only for myself but for others (and now my kids) for over 20 years (I might be wrong on the number of years since I don't have records back that far any more) and have been quite happy with it overall. On occasion the complexities of the tax code just can't be simplified enough to make it easy but Intuit does what it can. I would imagine that for someone not at all aware of the tax filing process even TT could be difficult but since my returns have become so complex perhaps I am jaded. It isn't perfect, but the Intuit team always responds to my issues and resolves them professionally.
What's great about it: Very thorough!
What's not so great: Maybe NOT for the amateur filer...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Another Great Experience

This is about the 12th year Ive used TurboTax and I have never had a problem or issue with it. It does what it's advertised and more, a great example of a rare thing these days - getting all and more than you paid for. Keep it up!
What's great about it: Turbotax works great
What's not so great: None

I wish that more information was available without having to "call" someone online. I still don't understand the HSA account contribution. The Tax Code is way too complicated. Flat Tax.
What's great about it: Easier than filling out taxes by hand (on paper).
What's not so great: Not always clear what was going on - example HSA contributions.

TurboTax is Good

I have used TurboTax for several years. I feel confident that my tax situation has been handled satisfactorily and expect no problems. The instructions were clear and provided almost everything I needed. I am happy to have this year's tax return behind me!

Great software

Overall a really good software package. but here's an idea to improve navigation. Suppose I'm on a page and I want to go back and check something earlier in the review. How about letting me pin the page, go where I want to go, and click on the pin to go immediately back to where I was. I tried the bookmark thing but it did not seem to do what I needed it to. Just an idea.
What's great about it: Easy to use, simple to understand
What's not so great: Now and then I still get lost in back and forth navigation
