Loved Turbotax!

I have used TurboTax since 2005 and they keep making it better and easy to use! You can't go wrong using the EasyGuide Feature! I have paid in excess of $800 for CPA's in the past with no further benefits!
What's great about it: Easy to Use and Fail Safe!
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's not so great: Turbo Tax does not tell you which State form to start with.

Smooth as Vanilla Ice Cream

I prepare returns for all of my family members (four returns). Turbotax lets me start and stop multiple returns when I have time to work on them. I love how last year's info is pre-populated, saving me time. One of the best features of Turbotax is it's completeness and accuracy--every situation is covered. It's also very convenient saving all of these separate returns electronically so they can be recalled or printed at any time. I've used Turbotax for many years and will continue to do so, since it's the easiest way to my family's taxes done.
What's great about it: Guided interview or targeted input. Start and stop returns on my schedule. Can do all of my family returns.
What's not so great: Guided interview seems tedious sometimes

Think because it automatically inserted hyphens for ss# I didn't need to, but caused minor confusion.
Couple of sections where the phrasing as to whether you had info to add was confusing. It seemed as if it was indicating something else rather than a simple yes or no. Right at end of deductions.
What's great about it: quick
What's not so great: said ss# was wrong when it was correct,

2012 Turbo Tax Review

Overall, Turbo Tax was excellent. It would be nice to add an integrated email capability where one could ask a queston or make a suggestion.
What's great about it: Detailed, Precise, Understands
What's not so great: Limited to what was programmed

I had the deluxe version. That all I need it. I think.
But before I use to get the upper version and that one used to have vedio explaining some the tax question. I used to like that. It was a lady and man explaining some of the tax issuse.

What's great about it: Save me from having to go to tax prep. I could do this at home.

It is easy to follow the guides, but I found that a number of times critical items although mentioned were not covered until I went back and specifically asked to do them.
I found that the inability to print out individual pages was annoying, since the final summary is just that, just a summary, with no way to review the individual components that were put into the calculations.
What's not so great: Incomplete print out ; inability to print out individual pages while working

TurboTax is the best for my family

I would recommend TurboTax to anyone who wants to take the time to explore all the tax possibilities available to them
What's great about it: TurboTax covers all the possible deductions and is easy to use
What's not so great: No problems ever with TurboTax
