Easy as can be

Will use Turbo tax til we don't pay taxes anymore.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions
What's not so great: Liked it all

Last Minute Filing Without Panic

I am a master procrastinator. Turbo Tax comes through for me every time. Thanks, Turbo Tax for getting me the best return possible even when I put off filing my taxes until the last possible moment!
What's great about it: Guided every step of the way.
What's not so great: None!

Great software; user friendly; allows you to enter information in any order you choose; direct downloads from investment accounts very helpful
What's great about it: Carrires forward all data from previous years; allows you go back and correct mistakes

Stress relief

I have used TurboTax for years. It has gotten me through the many changes in situations including changes in dependents as they grow up and leave the nest, changes in employment. Glad it explains things in a way that can be understood. Tax time is always stressful, but at least I know that I'm doing the best I can to get the job done correctly.
What's great about it: Thorough, walks you through step by step where necessary BUT there's the option to skip what you don't need help with.
What's not so great: Nothing that TurboTax can do anything about...

2nd filing

Just went in to check status on refund for son, realized never transmitted or saved info. Was done in February and printed stated return, mailed hard copy and received refund. efile for federal never went. Refiled today.
What's great about it: Easy to input and transfer data
What's not so great: Filed in February for son apparently did not go through

So-so for first experience

Somewhat unsatisfied with first year of use. Disappointed with lack of distinction/guidance between owning a business from a home AND having a home office. Also a problem, which we verified on the internet, with mortgage interest ($12,000) not transferring over to to home office deductions. Thus, we didn't get to take advantage of this on our 2012 taxes and will have to file an amended return.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use
What's not so great: Glitch in mortgage interest and other expenses transferring appropriately to home office expenses.
