Thorough Yet Relatively Easy, Especially For Taxes

Turbo Tax takes the complexity of today's IRS Code, along with all the annual changes, and allows most taxpayers to prepare their own returns.
Even small business owners and anyone with more challenging tax compliance issues can count on Turbo Tax to walk them through all issues in an easy, step-by-step manner.
In the end, you are confident your returns are complete and done properly and that you are getting the outcome that is fair and just. Way to go Intuit and the entire team involved in the development of the Turbo Tax software. Well Done!

Please stop charging for State transfer Fee

Turbo Tax 2012

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. Save a lot of time with some of the less used deductions. Makes entering data fast and accurate.
What's great about it: Easy to use, previous year data archived for comparison
What's not so great: Akward to go back and change details
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Oh Happy Day

I dreaded even starting this year's return. Finally, at the last hour, i loaded TurboTax and followed every step as it prompted me. The anticipation was all-consuming, since I was sure that I owed thousands of dollars in extra taxes. As I neared the end of the program, I realized that TurboTax was going to not only save me from additional taxes, but also get me a sizeable refund. I'm a permanent user from this point on.
What's great about it: TurboTax took me through step by step, prompting me to enter the correct information at every step of the way.
What's not so great: None - the program works as advertised

Always easy

I have been using TurboTax for years now and always find it easy to use. I used to do this all by hand with mountains of federal worksheets. The ease with which TurboTax guides you through the process, with its questionnaires and helpful links is great.
What's great about it: I love the step-by-step easy to follow directions and that I can use one program for federal & state filing.
What's not so great: Some of the online help is not as useful as one would expect with a purchased program
