Quick and Easy

always leave this task to the last minute, love the ability to knock it out in a few hours (includes the time spent recovering passwords and statements I can't find!)
What's great about it: electronic recovery of past year's information and current year W2
What's not so great: would like a simple calculator to play with #'s to see best way to reduce tax liability

Have been suing Turbo Tax for years and find it well worth the money. My filings are sometimes complicated so I don't mind spending a few dollars for a very thorough program.
What's great about it: The program asks all the right questions, even in complicated situations.
What's not so great: Not enough info about Form 8283
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Great 2012 Refund!

Turbo Tax got us our best refund since I started using the product over 8 years ago. Based on our families income and status, it knows how to request all the right information and is fantastic at getting us all the appropriate deductions for the best refund we deserve.
What's great about it: Excellent guidance in leading me through my return
What's not so great: Wasn't sure on a couple of screens that I needed to select the"Edit" button

This Product was very simple to use. All questions were straightforward. It was easy to step back if a mistake was made. I was very happy with the entire process.
What's great about it: Questions were easy to understand.

Goes a pretty good job but I do not support the idea of TurboTax spending significant amounts of money to make free taxware an impossibility in the USA.

This was a lot easier than Tax Act, I'm switching to Turbo Tax for sure.
