My Taxes

Having used Turbo Tax for many years, I can appreciate the program's continual advancement. It is becoming easier to use and more informative as well. I'm learning as I follow the program through the easy steps. Well done.
What's great about it: The program is ready to go...just follow the directions
What's not so great: Too easy....can be sure it did all the calculations correctly

I Love TurboTax

I have used TurboTax for many years and never regretted it. I have found it very easy and informative. My collegues that use professional preparers have no idea what is deductable, what changed from year to year, or where the deduction caps are.
What's great about it: I love taxes by the numbers. Follow the flow of questions and file.
What's not so great: Does not make coffee.

Last Minute Dream

Excellent, and using year after year allows many of the redundant entries to be taken right from last year's filing. Cost is much less than an accountant, and the accuracy is probably as good.
Started at 4:00 on April 14th and was done by 5:30.
Even handled the school district filing...awesome baby.
What's great about it: Easy, convenient, accurate
What's not so great: Charitable does not allow flat entries for items

Mac In Tax to Turbo Tax

I have been using the program for several years with no problems. It is extremely easy to use!
What's great about it: Been using since it was called Mac n Tax (spelling?) Very easy to use. No problems yet!
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Other than being difficult to enter this one type of donation, I have been a huge fan of Turbo Tax for over a decade.
What's great about it: Love the Guided Deductions Option
What's not so great: Not easy to enter the non-cash Sec 170 (g) donations
