Overall I have had good experience with Turbo Tax. Data is easy to enter and review.

Turbo tax is a great software to help you get through the IRS world. I really liked how the software lead me through each step. Made it fast and easy.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. It lead me through each part of my tax return.
What's not so great: I dont have any cons, turbo tax met all of my needs

all charges for state filing should be include when processing payment for the intial form.
What's great about it: easy to navigate , no slow response on question online
What's not so great: thought that e-fileing for state was paid when i paid to process the state taxform

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and like it. 2 issues. 1. It keeps reminding you of last year's stuff when not necessary. I had sold stock in 2011, and didn't need to pay on it in 2012, but Turbo kept harping on it.
2. Why are controls always at bottom of screen. Seems as if controls at top of screen with comment on where you are would be better.

I had a couple of difficulties this year. I solved one via the TurboTax user community. (That was a nice alternative to calling the IRS.) Additionally, I missed where to input the 1099-R information the first time through. Took a bit of looking to find it. But a problem I've had in the past (inability to easily change info that was imported) didn't trouble me this year. Maybe because the program didn't seem to want to import stuff from Quicken. That may develop into a problem in the future.
I think most folks would benefit from using TurboTax; it's really not hard to do your own taxes with the program. Unless, of course, you have some serious investment situations that need to be reported. I guess I can see a day when my taxes won't be so "simple," but it's not here today. I plan on using TurboTax next year.
What's great about it: The program pretty much flowed along as it has in the past.
What's not so great: I had a couple of difficulties.
