Great!

It is easy to use. I am new to doing my taxes and this program made it very easy to walk me through step by step .
What's great about it: Walks you step by step
What's not so great: have to pay for state filing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Death and Taxes

Having used Turbo Tax when it first started and used it ever since, Turbo Tax has come a long way. I can remember it the early years of TT, Those early years I sworn I would not use TT again. With another year to get over some of the earlier hassle, I've used it again. I'm happy I stuck with TT. This year's version is greatly improved! I will be using it again next year... keep up the good work for next year's version.
What's great about it: Very easy, very will thought thru

A great tool for most people filing taxes

Nobody likes filing taxes, but for me, TurboTax makes it as painless as the IRS would allow. I spend more time getting my paperwork together than the actual filing process, which is great.
One of the most convenient tools is the inclusion of ItsDeductable, which gives you reliable values for items you've donated to charity.
TurboTax does a good job of asking all the questions you need to be asked about your tax situation, and each year it does a better and better job of it. Even so, sometimes it's not 100% clear what some of the more esoteric questions and answers really represent; the fault here is not TT's but the tax code.
More complex tax returns and situations might require a tax accountant, but for the vast majority of payers, TT is quick and straightforward to use. Well done; I remain a satisfied customer.
What's great about it: Straightforwardly walks you through everything you need to do.
What's not so great: More complex tax situations probably require an accountant

Life made easy!

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years and it has never failed me. Even when I have owed money to Uncle Sam, it hasn't been Turbo Tax's fault. In fact, Turbo Tax tells me how to fix the situation so that it will not happen the next year. Can't ask for more than that! Thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Very user friendly. Uncomplicates tax day.
What's not so great: Can't think of even one.

Very Very User UNFRIENDLY

I filed jointly with my wife for federal taxes, and separately for two different states. Your program was AWFUL for my situation. If we filed jointly for both, it would have been easy. But I had to do the same work over and over and over. It was also not easy to fix certain mistakes. The program should take you right to it, but it does not. Instead you have to use the search feature which does not answer specific questions. Also, I didnt realize that there was extra cost for filing. I assumed that it was included in the price of the software....I felt scammed because it said nothing up-front about paying additional fees to file. I would never recommend this to anyone.
What's great about it: Very detailed
What's not so great: Not user-friendly
