Finally Done

After waiting 30 min staring at blank UPDATES screen when I launched, it never started updates. it would not close and had to ctl+alt+del out. Then it launched and was able to run. Claimed to be able to import W2s but could not. Pretty smooth after that.
What's great about it: Easy enough to understand

Happy with Turbo Tax

We have been using Turbo Tax for three consecutive years now. I find Turbo Tax to be accurate, convenient and it ensures we didn't miss anything on our federal tax return. I like that it does "checks and balances" of what was input and that you can have a nice Adobe PDF file to print out/save once the process is completed and that your return is automatically filed with the IRS, and you receive your refund securely either by mail or direct deposit. It couldn't be easier! Note: we bought the Deluxe Version this year. Glad we did - asked us more questions which resulted in a larger refund. THANKS TURBO TAX!
What's great about it: Easy to use; walks you through the software step by step and checks for accuracy!
What's not so great: n/a
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Simply put taxes

Overall I will use turbo tax again.
What's great about it: Easy to use. I have been using Turbo tax for the past 3 years.
What's not so great: Deductions can sometimes be confusing.

Great software

I have used TurboTax for several years and have always found it easy to use and understand. This year I had some additional items to file and did have some trouble locating items that were supposed to be worked on "later". Generally very happy with this software.
What's great about it: Extremely easy to use
What's not so great: Couldn't find items that were supposed to be "later"

Made it easy

When you have all you tax paperwork ready the step by step instructions are easy to follow and a breeze to get through. I have used Turbo Tax for years and enjoy the easy of filling my tax return.
What's great about it: Walked me through every step to ensure I didn't miss a deduction.
What's not so great: None.

Useful but could be more explicit

Software is robust and does allow to file on your own at a significant lesser price that going to a tax accountant, but despite many aids, there is still a lot assumed know by the filer, meaning that for a non-US born filer, it remains sometimes puzzling.
Also, I had a very bad surprise with the number of allowances for Federal Tax suggested last year by the Software, which resulted in having to pay an extra $3500 in the end :-(

Easiest way to do the Unpleasurable

Turbo Tax is the easiest wat to do taxes, Period.
The way you are walked through everything is a lot easier than shuffling back and forth through all the paperwork.

Calmed my fears

I was once audited which created fear that I wan unable to correctly file my return. Turbotax is so easy to understand and complete that I was able to conquer my fear and have confidence in my ability to complete a correct tax return myself.
