We have used TurboTax for 5 years in a row and 6 out of the last 7. We tried a competitor once, but came right back to TurboTax.
What's great about it: ease of use, accuracy
What's not so great: nothing glaring
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I recommend Turbo Tax to anyone. It is a program I trust.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax was so easy to follow and complete my taxes!

extremely user friendly program

Having used several programs over the years, I have to say that turbotax is unbelievably user friendly - I have some but limited knowledge of tax issues, and encountered complicated situation with one of the returns I did for family members - was led to an answer which involved downloading software to the computer - not a computer savvy person, but was easily walked thru the process and it was a success. Thank you TurboTax!!!

I have bought the Deluxe Turbo Tax for many years. This year it did not include state. I didn't realize this until I finished my federal return and then I had to spend another large sum of money for the state part.
That is a deal breaker for me that I will not forget next year.

Could be a lot easier. Could not my tax return print.

I still hate that I have to prepare and file tax returns every year. Using Turbo Tax has made it a much easier task. I can't imagine ever again preparing my tax returns without it

Turbo Tax Ease of Use

Turbo Tax is great...year after year. Love the "transfer of previous year" information. Saves time, hassle. Also, entering (downloading) information from financial institutions makes this task so much easier.

Almost Perfect

I left out a number for a taxable income input. When I entered it when prompted, the change was not made. I had to delete the 1099R and re-enter all of the data again.
This apparently carried over to the final calculation even after it appeared to be correct. I had to use online help and ended up having to delete and re-enter both 1099Rs in that section.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Convenient to import data from last year's return.
What's not so great: Correcting mistakes does not work as stated.
