I had a change in my tax situation this year. Turbo Tax did make it easy to navigate so that my tax forms are accurate.

Great improvements

This is about the 15th year using Turbo Tax. There has never been a single problem if I have followed the directions properly. I will continue to use this software
What's great about it: Quick, Easy, and Accurate
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I love using Turbo Tax. I've been using it to complete our taxes for more years than I can count! Its very easy to use and file taxes. I will not use any other product.

Still managed to surprise me!!

It was my 4th year running of using Turbo Tax. It still managed to surprise me with its innovations and updates. It was fun and easy.
Just one point about the child credit. I dont know if it would have missed it in its review, but there was an option to skip it at first.

Very structured and efficient user interface

No program glitches or hangups were encountered.
Program data files were always properly saved and tha program has protection against user closeout w/o saving.
Allows for back to previous everywhere.
Stop anytime and resume where left off w/o worry of losing place, forms, or data.
Efile was efficient - (well, see if refund comes?)

What's great about it: Captures/utilizes previous year and simple Q&A data input
What's not so great: some items not clear e.g You may owe a penalty for unpaid State Taxes, when it is only a caveat to check on.

Each menu option helped me to accelerate through the Federal Tax Program with ease. Explanations were clear and precise throughout the process. The Tax Review Section came in nicely when there was a mistake made on my part.

getting easier every yr

I have used turbotax every yr for a long time. It keeps getting faster and easier every yr. I get K-1s from two different partnerships and having everything but the amounts tranfer over from yr to year is great. Having the info transferred on charities is great too. This was the simplest year ever. I did the whole return in under 2 hours with comlplete confidence saving hndreds over the tax preparer fees my partners paid to have theirs done.
What's great about it: Importing info from last year saved a ton of time
