Better this year

I feel comfortable that my deductions are all appropriate, I feel completing the form keeps all deductions safe. I am not sure that I might have more eligible deductions that I have missed. I like the built in deduction calculator. I would like to be able to save my file to the CD that I purchased this years turbo tax for easy completion of next years form. I saved the doc as a pdf but it cannot autofill from that. I am not comfortable saving my taxes at TT online, or in the cloud as I feel it increases my risk of ID fraud. My work computer is locked so I cannot upload software, so have to borrow a computer each year to do my taxes. Have used Turbo Tax for many years now.
What's great about it: could opt out of irrelevant topics easily
What's not so great: not easy to import last years info

this is awsome tool that makes taxes fast and easy to do with out having to take out the calculator and add it all on your own. no pencil and eraser needed.
What's great about it: i like that it walks you thru the process and makes it easy to go back and add what you missed. easy to do
What's not so great: all the extra things that just dont apply to my situation but hard to get rid of so that it covers it all for you
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Straight-forward questions; can be stopped and resumed
What's not so great: Carryover of info (except personal info) and import of data not useful

I have used Turbo Tax every year since 2006, and have always enjoyed the easy-to-follow instructions and simple filing. I am in the process of starting my own business, and look forward to using Turbo Tax's Home and Business version next year. Thanks Turbo Tax!

Since I started using Turbo Tax, I would not go to any other option. Easy, walks you through the complete process. Very good.

Need Enhancement

Recommend
1) constant tracking of a few more key items AGI (by choice) like the refund $ value is tracked

2) Need a sticky note reminder tool to allow you to mark items pages you would like to go back to
3) need a print screen option to let you print WHAT IS ON THE SCREEN (not forms)
4) need to supply better explaination of charitible contributions and what PERCENTAGES are applying to that item when you enter it - sometimes one item would be 20% sometines 25%, etc. depending on the value it seemed to change percentage - did not make sense
What's great about it: I like the interview process
What's not so great: Hard to figure why you don't qualify for some things

The software is very intuitive, user friendly and easy to navigate but the explanations for some of the more confusing sections aren't that helpful and the "Help" section isn't very helpful.
