The first time I had to fill taxes in the US. Thanks Turbo Tax it was a piece of cake. Yeah!

I have used Turbo Tax for decades and have never had a problem.
What's great about it: Very thorough for a layperson. Live update of Owed / Refund is fun to watch.
What's not so great: Sometimes seems to ask questions that were answered earlier

We always use TurboTax and it only took us about an hour and a half....
What's great about it: Just makes doing the taxes that much easier.

I have been using TurboTax now for about 10 years or better. I think that in that time it has gotten even easier to use! Simple, straight forward instructions make tax time (almost) painless.

1.A simple 1099 Miss took hours
2. a $500 non 1099 took hours

What's great about it: bringing up info from last year saves time
What's not so great: Anything unusual is hard to do

turbotax offers an easy way to resolve all your tax issues, from the begining to your check.
What's great about it: easy and practice
What's not so great: answers to questions not always are on the same topic
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
