2012 Delux Version

This product handled my transfer from working to retirement very well. Even after canceling W-2s going to 1099-Rs it still asked for W-2 state and Zip.
What's great about it: Easiest to use yet
What's not so great: Still wanted state and Zip code for nonexistant W-2s
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo tax for the last several years and would not use any other self preparation service. THANK YOU!!!!!
What's great about it: guidance is very helpful
What's not so great: none

Little Glitches

I have used TurboTax for several years now and have never had a problem with the software until now. For example, once I was done with my federal return and tried to open my state return, I was stuck in a loop. I had to reopen turbo tax in order to start my state taxes. Also, while I was in the last stages of checking my return before submitting it, I kept getting a "script error".
What's great about it: I like how the program is organized.

The best refund maker out there!

I have been using turbotax for a number of years now and it is by far the easiest, most efficient, and quickest way to maximize your refund. This is one time the commercials don't lie. I will continue to use Turbotax until the govt ends up taking all of my money and I don't need a detailed program to add up my taxes to 100% of my income and calculate my refund at zero!
What's great about it: Easy to follow, detailed, help is always a click away

Like previous versions better

Much harder to use than turbo tax 2011, confusing from federal to state . Had to go back a few times to start the state return, wasted about 30 min just because I did not see the small state tab...., why go to adobe to print, just add a print tab like previous versions.
What's great about it: alot more instand help
What's not so great: too busy, too many tabs

This program works well for the average taxpayer. And, it certainly beats the costs of taking your tax information to a paid tax preparer.
My taxes have been submitted now 7 days without the electronic refund in my checking account. In 2012, the return was processed within 3-4 days.
What's great about it: quick and easy
What's not so great: sometimes difficult to know how to answer a specific question
