Turbotax is easy to use. I do use other resources along with Turbo tax to verify the information that I am entering.

So Easy I Can Do It!

My husband and I were tired of paying a tax "professional" over $150 to prepare our simple tax return when we did most of the work organizing the data. We were frustrated that many times there were mistakes costing us additional fees.
Five years ago I decided to prepare our taxes myself. I was amazed at how easy the program was to understand and It guided me through the entire process.
I'm so confident with the program that I'm now doing my daughter's tax and my neighbors too.
What's great about it: Each Category is very detailed, making it easy for the average taxpayer to understand.
What's not so great: All the extra fees to to file an additional state.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Painless Return

I had used Tax Cut for years (since '88). Back when I first started using software to do my return there was no such thing as e-file.
As my life progressed and became more complicated, so did my tax returns. 2009 I switched to Turbo Tax. It has the most intuitive software on the market. It can pull data from various sources thereby reducing the risk of making an error from copying numbers from one form to the next.
It's Deductible is included (I used to have to buy it). This is a great help when deciding the value of property donated. I had been UNDER-estimating the value of clothes donated for years.
I had an issue with my return last year and Turbo Tax had a professional help me through it all. Great software, easy to use and most of all accurate and they stand by the product.

Fast and accurate results. Know where you are as you go.
What's great about it: Even moderate organization of user's info is sufficient.
What's not so great: Some of the Turbo Help puts the user in an endless loop.

This program allowed me to get all of my taxes done within 1 day. Whereas before it would take weeks when I was filling out the forms myself. It breaks it down to where anyone can understand the process.

I would recommend Turbo Tax to other and have in the past. I have used Turbo Tax since 2007. This program is easy to use and I can update and purchase year after year and no problems with loading and updating the software. I can start a return and finish in a few days based on my time. Fantastic Software!!!!
What's great about it: Quick, Informative, and provides additional IRS tax Pub for review for unfamiliar tax items
What's not so great: Lots of information, but great guidance
