Used it for years

I've been a TurboTax user for a lot of years and continue to come back. I hate doing taxes but seem to make it through each year despite my feelings about the tax system. I like having the ItsDeductible site tied in with the data entry process for my deducations. It all works... that's what I appreciate.
What's great about it: Consistency
What's not so great: Can't think of one right now

can't seem to get Roth conversions correct on IRA information worksheet. willl require folllow up with Turbo-Tax after filing completed.
What's great about it: lots of redundancy - good for checking and verifying
What's not so great: at times difficult to follow - some topics are confusing

MY WHOLE FAMILY HAS BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR YEARS. ITS USER FRIENDLY AND INSURES ALL THE DEDUCTIONS ARE TAKEN.

Used to be easy but with Windows 8 it has been bad

I will keep using TurboTax and hope Windows 8 is fixed so it can do pdf's correctly.
What's great about it: TurboTax has always been easy to follow; been using it for at least 10 years.
What's not so great: PDF for 8453-PE form is not able to be accomplished with Windows 8; comes out garbled, misaligned, unreadable, useless

Graduation ahead

Doing returns for my soon to graduate son. So many new tax situations that this software was a big help.
What's great about it: Takes you through step by step
What's not so great: Can't see actual return until way at the end when you have to check something.

Ease of Return

I found that with a home business, that there are some areas that are not clear at first review. It requires some understanding. However, the use of Turbo Tax is 95% easier that filling out forms by hand.
What's great about it: Understandable if all tools are used
What's not so great: Requires extrapolation in some areas

This is my 5 th year using Turbo Tax. It is fast and easy to use. The process guides you through the whole tax process to get your taxes done with ease. E-filing your returns is quick and simple too. Before long, your taxes are done and no need to find a post office. Just E-file with ease and you're done. Refund process is underway!
What's great about it: walked you through the process
What's not so great: needs a little better explanation of breakdown of medical expenses-as in dentist- but going to clinic as opposed to dire
