Turbo T in revue

I'm a CPA and attorney, and TT asked everything needed for a complete return. The federal review and check for errors qued the things that needed to be fixed.
Been using TT for 10 years and it only gets better.
Will never change.

Still using it after 18 years

When I tried to print a supporting details sheet (cntrl-I) from a given area, the only options I got from the print menu was to print ALL supporting detail sheets. Either that, or it LOOKED like a waste of paper if I hit print at that point. It was not intuitive, as it should have been.
Otherwise, it's made filing an easier task than it would've been had I done it by hand, for certain.

Some of the steps were confusing and explanations were not as detailed. It took me some time to figure it out. I hope I did it right.
Overall, I was satisfied with TurboTax and the refund. Could be improved however.
What's great about it: Helped with filing my return quicker than by hand.
What's not so great: Some steps were confusing.

Easy

Auto imports data from previous years to minimize data entry. Walks you through and makes taxes an almost casual experience. I've been using it for 6+ years and will continue to use it.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Still have to pay to e-file state return

I used to have a friend do my taxes, she is a CPA with a Master's degree in taxation. She uses Turbo Tax, so now I do too.
