Fees to death

I could not import my turbo tax from last year!! At the end you had a bunch of Fees to e-file. NOT HAPPY!!

First Time user, will use again

I have always had my taxes prepared by a CPA. When they messed up my 2010 returns which I didn't find out until I had them prepare my 2011 returns (I had moved to another county during the year and they didn't change my county of residence so I ended up paying extra; I didn't notice until 2011 and by that time the statue of limitations had passed and the county would not refund my money# I decided it would be worth it to save money and try this on my own. TurboTax was very easy to use, relatively quick #once you have all your documents with you# and complete. The only complaint I have is that it took the state returns forever to load and I thought that I got a state return free with the deluxe edition but I ended up paying. #I need to check into this). I plan to use next year and highly recommend.
What's great about it: Easy to use, detailed, quick
What's not so great: Took a long time for the state forms to load

quick, fast, and easy... first time user, i did w2 and 1099 tax forms and you will need some idea if filling 1099. however i will say this... it will walk you through every step and teach what to consider, what you can and can't deduct.
What's great about it: takes into account everything, stupid proof... (for the most part)
What's not so great: none

I have been using Turbo Tax for about six years and I am very pleased with the service and results.
What's great about it: I like the ease of completing the data entries and the verification process.
What's not so great: I have none!

Turbo Tax is the way to file.

I have used Turbo Tax for at least 6 years now. the only thing I recommend is that you also save your finished return on a flash drive or portable drive as well as your computer. My computer crashed last year and i had to start my return from scratch rather than have my info imported.
What's great about it: Asks questions I don't think about.
What's not so great: Can't think of any

Had a little trouble

Got a rejection the first time I attempted to file my returns this year. been using Turbo Tax for years now and this is the first time this has happened. When I went on to see why I got a rejection It was because of some form. It would have been nice if I could just go to the form from the rejection screen but I could not do that so after 2 attempts to fix the form and 2 more rejections I just started all over. Now I am just crossing my fingers that I am not audited....
What's great about it: Guidence
What's not so great: Rejected, but not enough detail as to why.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
