Quick & Easy yet Thorough

Great overall. Thorough, but easy to navigate with interview questions. Just took me a couple hours.

I would recommend Turbo Tax to everyone. There is just no reason so spend more on preparing your tax returns. No matter how complicated you think it is, Turbo Tax makes is easy!
What's great about it: Loved that I could file a fairly complicated return quickly and easily.
What's not so great: Not a thing

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1991 when it known as MacInTax by ChipSoft. Since then I have used it in both MAC & PC environments. The improvements and added features over the years have made TurboTax the very affordable Gold Standard of tax preparation software available to consumers. It is simple, easy to use and as the name implies it is intuitive.
I recommend TurboTax every tax season to friends and family who I know prepare their own taxes.

What's great about it: Importing prior years data is eamless/flawless. The same holds true for W-2 Data from participating payroll processors.
What's not so great: If a Form you created in error shows up in the “Error” check deleting it there/then w/b easier than going to "Forms"

I have found several times where I entered items into TT just because I had the forms in front of me and it turned out to be a real bonus for me.
What's great about it: Has helped me in many ways.
What's not so great: Sometimes there is too much "hand holding".

I have been using TurboTax for many years. My kids now use it for their returns too.
What's great about it: Generally easy to do. Just fill in the blanks. Moves some information over so it doesn't have to be entered again.
What's not so great: For my SEP IRA I had to go find the work sheet and figure out how to change from a traditional to a SEP IRA.
