Up to its' usual quality

Have used Turbo Tax for years and like the results, and have never had a problem with it. However, in upgrading this year's product I found that the guided tour took longer than usual.
What's great about it: Calculations, worksheets, tax help wonderful
What's not so great: Guided tour over excessive

Turbotax is a valuable tool for completing an annual process that remains unbelievably complicated and time consuming.
What's great about it: Like the detailed format and support documents.
What's not so great: Unable to edit Income Field for 1099. Maybe user error
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for years

Once you have set up your Turbo Tax information, filing from year to year afterwards is a snap.
When going through the steps for each category, the questions can seem annoying when they do not apply to your specific situation, but in doing so, it ensures all areas are covered.
This year I received a 1099-A form, which is unusual. I was unable to find how to process it in the Delux version of Turbo Tax. Reviewing the IRS information online was also not helpful.
Regardless, I will consult a tax professional to see if I am due a refund and file an ammended return.
In the meantime, I am filing my return which is easy as usual with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy to use, imports last year's information.
What's not so great: Unclear information about an obscure form.

I like the program, the ease of use and the way the program checks my return for errors and audit issues.
Good program!
What's great about it: Use of application reduces the amount of time searching for the appropriate forms to complete on my return.
What's not so great: Would like to be able to print information for further review.

could not be simpler to use

I don't know why I dread doing taxes now. I suppose that there is still the lingering memories of paper forms and the hassle if you need to change something. Even with itemizing, cap gains, etc., I can do my tax return in about two hours. Then, I leave it for a few days and go back through it to verify the entries are correct. Maybe try some options for different amounts to put in an IRA.
The only other con that i can think of now is that the IRS probably doesn't worry about making forms more complicated and formulas more bizarre because TurboTax can make it so easy that few people complain.
What's great about it: If only the IRS would take some lessons from the folks at Turbo! i've used TurboTax for years - what a breeze.
What's not so great: there are some checkboxes that don't stay checked when i go back through to review and verify entries.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
