I don't know why I dread doing my taxes and wait till the last minute. It is time consuming, but Turbo Tax makes it so easy and affordable.
What's great about it: the step by step instructions
What's not so great: confusing to go back to correct something
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall a good solid product. During busy season difficult to reach for tech support. People all try to help but difficult to reach.
What's great about it: clear instructions, good logical follow through
What's not so great: difficult to reach support and ask a techi question relating to downloads and past data

Fast and accurate

I have used Turbo Tax (TT) for years and do not foresee using any other program or individual to do my taxes. With TT, I don't have to worry about my math, miss an entry, or forget about an income or deduction. I like to be able to compare last year's entries with this years entries for trending amd sanity checks. I recommend TT to any one who asks.
What's great about it: Tax updater as data is entered

Easier and Easier

I have been using TurboTax since it was first released. There is no comparison between the software we are using today and that first version. Every year there are news stories about the IRS simplifying the tax code or reducing paperwork. Like most government rumbling there is very little truth to those statements. Things are supposed to get easier for us run of the mill taxpayers. Without TurboTax we would all be lost. It is solid, reliable, easy to use and does not let you forget things. It checks your work, compares result to national averages and above all stands behind its product and results. There are very few companies that really do that these days.
What's great about it: Each Year as the Tax Code Gets more Complex, TurboTax makes Tax Time Easier

Simple & Easy

I use it every year and it's just so simple to use. in 2012 we had a return of a house and it knew the tax rules and removed the 11K+ taxes that we would have paid.
What's great about it: Information carryover from year to year
What's not so great: I still had to pay taxes :(
