MADE IMPOSSIBLE TASK POSSIBLE

i THINK A BETTER EXPLANATION WHICH DOCUMENTS ARE OR MIGHT BE NEEDED BEFORE YOU BEGIN WOULD MAK TE PROCESS QUICKER AND LESS FATIQUING.
What's great about it: INSTRUCTION WERE CLEAR AND LOGICAL
What's not so great: sOME OF THE DECISIONS AT THE END MIGHT BETTER BE EXPLAINED UP FRONT AND GIVEN MORE DETAILS OF THE CONSEQUENCES.

Smooth Sailing

Fewer kinks in the program than in prior years. The software loaded without a qualm. Your retrieval of last year's return and information was almost flawless. Using Easyguide to walk through Income, Deductions, Credits gave comfort that everything was covered. Switch to Filing State Return was seamless. Your New York State program is less confusing than prior years. Filing by e-file was smoothly handled.
What's great about it: Easy install, straightforward process, loaded last year's information for reference, review and checking process smooth

I just get all my records together and enter the numbers in. Turbo Tax does the the right forms for me.

I had a number of what I thought were unusual expenses including income from overseas etc and TurboTax made it easy
What's great about it: Inexpensive and handles unusual things with ease
What's not so great: home version should also have a way to save online in case of computer loss

I've used TurboTax for over 10 years. It has been accurate mostly very easy to use. I love it! My husband died in 2012 and TurboTax made all necessary adjustments accordingly. (Re the Life Changes listed in this form: "My spouse died" is missing.) My primary complaints annually involve involve printing. Although the Easy Guide talks about asking if you want a Print Preview before filing, that question doesn't appear until very, very late in the filing process. It should be available when the Easy Guide talks about it. Or better yet, come up in the print window. I would also like a quick and easy ability to print a window, e.g. the various year-to-year comparisons. I have to use Image Capture to do so.
What's great about it: Easy to use

We have used Turbo Tax since 2008. We have always felt like we have submitted a correct and comprehensive tax return looking at all of our deductions and contributions to maximize our return. Thank you.

Not so bad as I expected!

My overall experience with doing the taxes for the first time in many, many years was the program made it so much easier to complete. It asked all the right questions to get the best return possible. I will definitely consider using it again next year.
What's great about it: It had all the information I needed to file
What's not so great: Kind on long, but it was to be expected
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
