The product is very user friendly, just follow the prompts. I like that I don't have to look up and know the tax laws and rules for deductions and credits. Turbo Tax does it for me.

The hardest part about this process is getting your paperwork together, W-2s, deductions, charitable documents, the rest is seemless.

Excellent. I've used it in the past.
What's great about it: Covered everything, eased my mind, and was easy to complete
What's not so great: The system didn't seem to know Florida has no state tax.

Such a great product. I wish there were more navigability for those of us more familiar with TurboTax.
What's great about it: Explanations of everything
What's not so great: Not as much freedom to go where I want. Stuck in GUIs
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax was panned by State of Minnesota. This was very concerning. Hope they got it right by the time I filed.

I worked for accountants for over 20 years & they all used Accountants version of Turbo Tax. The Deluxe version is easy to follow. I also like the fact that it carries forward your information from the years before.
What's great about it: User friendly & you can skip Step-by-Step to do return yourself
What's not so great: No longer one free state tax e-file

Whew!

I've used TurboTax for 15+ years & it keeps getting better every year. Taxes are a pain due to the incredible complexity & TT minimizes this pain...it still takes me some time, but TT is the best alternative to paying an accountant for my situation.
What's great about it: Really like the interview method
What's not so great: Never 100% sure that changes made mid-stream were captured
Pros: I bought or sold investments
