TurboTax's option to import W2 info reduces time, effort, and errors. It guides you by the hand each step of the way. Love that it shows a meter indicating how likely you are to be audited when your return is complete. E-File for free is simple and quick. Great product for the average person.

Good in general

The one improvement I would make to save time to people in situations like mine (employees with some building expenses) are the following:
1 - Clarify in advance the minimum expenses required to get a deduction; e.g. business expenses. I spent time entering the information requested on the form to learn at the end that my expenses were less than the minimum required and my deduction was zero.
2 - Indicate at the end of the section if the expenses entered qualify for a deduction or not (now you have to review the final form to find out.

Smooth Tax Filing - Again!

Was very user-friendly (as I've come to expect with Turbo Tax. Was also very easy for my two sons' returns - they are tax return filing rookies, so Turbo Tax was very useful in their introduction to tax-time. I highly recommend Deluxe Turbo Tax as the all-around most useful tax filing program for the average tax payer. Will use it again next year.
What's great about it: Everything was, if anything,easier than last year. the Deluxe version walked me through my spouse & my joint return.
What's not so great: None I can think of.
