Have used Turbo Tax for years have always found it very easy to use and helpful in all areas.
What's great about it: Great information and ways to always check questions.
What's not so great: After paying for it, hate having to pay more to efile

Using the TT software makes a challenging task easier. I feel that my family's returns are done correctly and I am confident I did a good job with TT support.
What's great about it: the step by step guide
What's not so great: not knowing all the tax laws and why some things change

Since Turbo Tax came into my life I have no need for personal tax preparer's. It is fast, easy, any i can file my taxes with total confidence it is 100% accurate. I hate writing a check to the IRS each year, but I know Turbo Tax gave me every possible deduction I was entitled to. Mahalo Turbo Tax for producing an outstanding product!!!

So Easy!

We've used Turbo Tax for 4 years now and every year it has been easy and simple, especially if you record your receipts as the year goes by. I would recommend it to anyone who can read and follow instructions and has a computer.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax walks you thru step by step - all you do is fill in the blanks
What's not so great: Wished the the first State return could be filed free

We've used Turbo Tax for ten years. Love how easy it is; how thorough the questions; the price is reasonable. I recommend it highly!!
What's great about it: checking for errors
What's not so great: no cons
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Made filing of taxes easier than ever

Very easy for the most part but some explanations could be clearer. Use simple English for questions and explanations, not everyone is up to snuff on tax or accounting lingo. Import of data was very easy and made the process better and foolproof...
What's great about it: easy inputs for the most part
What's not so great: Once i say "NO" don't show me the forms or question again

Using since MacInTax

i have used this product since it was known as MacInTax and was available only for MacIntosh computers. It was the first product to offer WYSIWYG tax forms. (Now, of course, the only tax forms used are the ones you print for your records.) I like the step by step interview process. Over the years I have had some complicated returns and some simple returns. The TurboTax interview process has let me work through them quickly and accurately. I have never had a problem with the IRS since I started using this tax software. I recommend it to everyone but the folks who need to use sophisticated tax shelters to avoid taxes on their millions.
What's great about it: Seamless
What's not so great: Took a while to get Minnesota details correct this year.
