Not as good as previous years

Been using TT since 2008, and this year was probably my last.
This year's edition seemed to be not as easy to navigate through. I thought some of the sections were too over simplified almost making finding specific things a little harder.

Waiting til the last minute (day before)

because of mid-terms and papers due, I had put off doing this (income taxes) until the last minute. Software is readily available, so it did not take me long to get a copy, and load and go. I especially like e-filing, as I don't normally mail anything these days, everything is electronic.
What's great about it: Simple setup, easy to use
What's not so great: no student version of Turbotax

Fast, simple and easy to use

Importing info from employers, banks, etc., is easier and faster than ever. Walking through income and deductions is fast, and can be as thorough as you want if you don't skip sections.
What's great about it: Walks through all deductions
What's not so great: Not always easy to serach for very specific questions

TurboTax Delux

I've been using TurboTax every year since 1996. There's never been a problem. I've never felt that I've been short changed in terms of maximizing my deductions, etc. I recommend Turbo Tax to anyone who's looking to prepare their taxes themselves and even those who think their tax situation is to difficult.
What's great about it: Outstanding. Thorough, easy to understand and complete.
What's not so great: Some explanations could be more thorough up front to reduce the time spent searching for info.

Maximized my refund with Turbo Tax

Each year it gets easier and easier to file my taxes. I love that TurboTax has tools that allow you to import your W-2 and other financial information.
I feel assured that I've taken all of the applicable tax credits.

I had all my papers, receipts, and tax information available. I opened TurboTax and completed and filed both federal and state taxes in less then 3 hours. Thank you TurboTax.
What's great about it: The ability to view each area without worrying about skipping or missing something.
What's not so great: none

Review 2012 Turbo Tax

In general, I found the package very easy to use and especially liked TurboTax's ability to download the finanical transactions from my finicial institutions and the package's ability to bring in the prior years data.
I also liked the ease in which TurboTax e_filed my return.
What's great about it: The Easy Step process makes it very easy to fill-out and file your tax return.
What's not so great: I found the on-line Help facility to be not very Helpful. I found it confusing to use and not very satisfactory.
