Easier and cheaper than a Pro!

Once I got all my info together Turbo tax made it eaiser the complete Fed& State forms.
The info on SSI supplemental ins deductability and deleting forms were difficult to follow.

Great SW with one bug that needed to be corrected

Great Tax SW. I've been using it for years, but this year I spent 2 hours trying to correct an error listed when I was E-filing my State tax return. This has never happened before. I had to go through the Help/FAQ section to find out the reason for the error that would not let me e-file. It turned out to be a certain field that would not accept a Zero in the box, but it needed to be blank instead. You had to override the box and delete the Zero, then everything went through fine.
What's great about it: East to use SW
What's not so great: Had a SW bug that prevented e-filing the return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

An advanced mode would be helpful, but not necessary. The menus are easy and the help is easy to find if you need it.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Should have an advanced mode... ...less verbose.

What's great about it: I like how it walks you through the return and confirms things
What's not so great: If it could explain depreciation and how that work it would be nice.

I've used Turbotax for a few years now and I love it! Makes doing taxes so much easier. So easy...any one can use it. I will for sure use it again next year.
What's great about it: just follow directions and click away!

I like the overall design of the product in terms of coordinationg the info with multiple states.
I woudl like to see improvements in NY State as I had to double checkj sertain things -some info was not obvious.

Great service over the phone!!

I have tax always purchased a turbotax cd, but this year I decided to download the softwear instead. I very helpful person on the phone guided me through the process and was very patient.
What's great about it: The agent was VERY patient with me, and I really appreciated it
What's not so great: I did have to wait 30min for an agent to help me
