Overview of Turbo Tax Experience

Ooverall still enjoy working with this mostly intuitive product from Intuit. Some items could be improved upon but overall very good.
What's great about it: Good walk through of the tax filing process
What's not so great: Some of the flexibility is lacking fro certain items

Overall very happy with Turbo Tax! Will use again.
What's great about it: Easily walks through each income, deductions.
What's not so great: Hard to get information on specific areas where a link is not provided, ex. Scheduled K-1

this really helped me out, but for truckers there needs to be more help with their expenses, couldnt understand for meals, and nothing for cell phone deduction.
What's great about it: Fast, simple, inexpensive
What's not so great: very confused with deductions for truck drivers

I like how the program walks you through each section of the tax return, that way you find all the deductions and credits you're entitled to, even if you don't know it. The help options also lets you research and learn about tax topics if you have questions. The program is written in easy to understand questions, so you're confident that you've answered correctly. I tried another tax prep program several years ago, but was unhappy with the flow. The following year I came back to turbo tax and plan to continue using it from here on out.

The best thing that I find about Turbo Tax is the feature that imports the data from the previous year. I thought that this year I had gathered up all the information that I needed. The program showed me that I had missed a deduction which I had taked the previous year. That added deduction saved me several times the cost of Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Imports data from last year' return
What's not so great: None!
