I like the program because it helps you every step of the way. It has plenty of space for all your information. I like the error and audit checking feature it provides.
What's great about it: Love all the questions - confindent return accurate
What's not so great: Would like a list up front for what documentation is needed

turbo tax is easy to use and gives you the chance to review forms before filing; certain items are grouped together - which the IRS may not like however
What's great about it: quick to do and references last year's data
What's not so great: lumps real estate and property taxes together

program questions were not clear and distinct.. almost every question required me to go back through every part. even trying to file was a hassel.

A little more detail would be nice

I wish when you were not eligible for a credit or deduction and that credit or deduction has a gross income limit it the software would give you those limits so I would know why without having to go to the tax publication to look them up.
What's great about it: great software use it every year
What's not so great: I find myself having to look up the federal publications sometimes

Pretty good system of answering questions to come up with the data needed. But a lot of sidetracking to minor issues that are rarely relevant. A bit too much sales activity along the way, TurboTax asking you to sign up for this or that. Hard to see how data being entered is going into IRS documents, want to see this process along the way and not just accept what TurboTax says is correct or complete.
What's great about it: Handled my margin interest problem
What's not so great: Hard to redo entries once past them

I have been using TT since 1998...I still have every disc! I've compared the rest with friends, and TT is by far the most user friendly. I am Mortgage Banker...when I ask for tax returns, I generally see 70% are TT generated...a salute to your fan base! Keep making it simple folks!
What's great about it: TT always brings last year forward...great with reminders...easy use and lots of support
What's not so great: Can't even think of one
