I've been using TurboTax for years and love it. It keeps getting better and better every year which is great because as I get older my returns become more complex.
Would love to get a list of forms/documents that I entered data for into last years return that I can print out after I install the new turbo tax and move my info over from my last years return.
What's great about it: Ease of use, helpful information, quick
What's not so great: Can't think of anything.

Have used Turbo Tax for many years. The Its deductible tool is great to track deductible contributions and assist in calculating the value of the various items. Turbo Tax is getting easier to use each year with the self guided approach to gather income, deductions, etc.
What's great about it: Being able to E-file both Federal aqnd State. The guided tour makes you think about the different deductions you can tak
What's not so great: The cost of the State E-file is a little pricey.

love turbotax!

Yet again, TurboTax saved us at the last minute. Last year, as in previous years, I resolved to file our taxes on Feb 1, right after receiving our W2 forms. This year we found ourselves scrambling to get our taxes started on April 8. I knew they would get done (and completed accurately) using Turbotax, and I was right. Phew!!!! We went through all the right questions, got help with the extra clicks when I needed it, and filed in the nick of time, on April 14.
What's great about it: saved us at the last minute again
What's not so great: nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I was really concerned about using this method but I had family and friends who said that this was the way to go. Now I see what they were talking about. It was an easy process and I will use Turbo Tax again next year.

It was fast to complete, but almost too simple, if that makes sense. Some areas definitely need more elaboration, such as tax credits, and ways to reduce your taxes next year, without the standard estimated payment solution.
What's great about it: Quick, relatively easy to follow
What's not so great: Not a lot of in depth follow through, difficult to find answers to questions, not much support regarding tax credits

This was my first time using Turbo Tax and I will definitely use it going forward for years to come. I really liked how it gave you step by step directions. You could check out things just to get a better understanding. There were many links to click on to give you more details. It didn't take too much time to complete the process which was the best part.
What's great about it: User friendly, informative, tax experience.
