Great software

We've been using TurboTax for years. Its ease-of-use keeps you feeling confident that you won't make a mistake and be audited. Because it prompts you along the way, it is easier to keep your documents and information more organized. The e-filing is very simple, and the .pdf versions of the filed documents are easy to save, print, and store. We will continue to use it.
What's great about it: Easy step-by-step progression; prompts you for everything

Step by step, can't miss a thing

I love Turbo Tax because they don't miss a thing. It walks you right through each line item. I love the variety of products that can be upgraded to fit your life. Only problem this year was the not being able to download updates but that's the only problem I'm had with the software in 10+ years.
What's great about it: step by step approach, didn't need to know much to complete
What's not so great: could not download updates, this year only

Won't Do my Taxes Without It

I love that I can decide how much of a Turbo Tax product I'll need at the store - some years I buy the whole works, some years the Deluxe is enough. It's so easy I don't know why a person wouldn't use it. I also love the red flag option, the mistake checker and the ease of e-filing with Turbo Tax. I love that last year's info is saved so I can dump it all when I buy the next year's Turbo Tax.
My mom is a retired CPA and uses it too - we both can't say enough about it.

What's great about it: Tells me what to do each step of the way
What's not so great: In past years the updates weren't ready. This year no cons.

The ability to import personal information and the information from the previous year's return is of great value and saves a lot of time. I like the audit defense feature.

Normal easy processing

What I like is that it asks the proper questions in correct order and then completes the return. The best part is not having to rekey all of the data from previous year. It stores it all for processing including checking account and visa card.
What's great about it: Went through complete script. Saved all previous years data.
