Turbo Tax Upgrade

Best software upgrade yet in the > 25 yrs that we've been using Turbo Tax. Very user friendly and detailed.
What's great about it: User Friendly and detailed
What's not so great: Community section slowed my computer down.

Sometimes frustrating. Would not let me efile with the correct zip code for one of my charitable contributions. I retyped it and the program kept putting me in a endless loop until I was forced to use an incorrect zip code to get it to go through. Hope this does not cause me to get audited!
What's great about it: easy to use most of the time
What's not so great: would not accept the zip code of one of my charitable contribuations even though it was correct.

I've been a TurboTax for over 10 years. I didn't know a lot about taxes when I started, but I've learned more every year. I use the EasyGuide option for any section that I'm not familiar with, but select 'Explore on my own' if I want to plan ahead for what I may need for next year, if my circumstances change.
Having this information available makes me a more informed taxpayer, being more aware of how both government and personal decisions may influence my Income/Expenses in future.
What's great about it: You don't HAVE to know anything about taxes, but you will by the time you're finished!
What's not so great: I would like to know 'charitable value' of an item without having to enter it as a donation.

I have been using TurboTax for many years and each year it has become easier to work with. I will use TuboTax for the rest of my life.
What's great about it: Easy to work with
What's not so great: No way to back away from Audit Defence

My life can sometimes have its complications, however, my expenses and financial situation are not complicated for Turbo Tax. Turbo Tax is easy to complete, with all the help you could ask for (and need) and at inexpensive price. The best part is...I get to keep all of my refund without having to pay a 3rd party. Thank you - Turbo Tax...I look forward to doing this again next year...and I will let my family and friends know.
What's great about it: Easy and inexpensive
What's not so great: n/a
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
