I have been using TurboTax for several years and this current version is the easiest yet. It tells you what it's doing every step of the way and explains what will happen next. This was very helpful especially when e-filing because of the different screens that you go through.
What's great about it: easy to use, fast, guides you through each step
What's not so great: wish e-file for State return was free also.

waited, like many 'till last-minute, and first-time itemizing! Bought Turbo deluxe Fed and State and took much of the worries away and saved me countless hours reading fine print of 1040 instructions.
Will use again - quick and easy and e-file built-in.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, stress-free
What's not so great: some deductions get too detailed for low amounts

Gets the job done!

I use this program every year and so far I have had successful returns. The format could be easier to read. The columns for income,etc. get a little difficult to follow.
Other than that, great program, easy to purchase, easy to install.

I have used TurboTax since the 1990's, the experience gets better each year. I completely trust this easy to use program.
What's great about it: The program does not miss an opportunity
What's not so great: If not prepared, could be time consuming.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy Easy Refund

We love using Turbo Tax every year. It's super simple and we feel at ease knowing we're getting our maximum refund.

Purchased at local store and utilized for daughters and my taxes. Pulls data from previous returns and takes you step by step. There were some questions that I needed answered and utilized the resources in the program as well as downloading from the actual IRS website.
What's great about it: Allowed me to see what was the best way to file my taxes
What's not so great: If could have entered the data just once and then choose options and it would have separated data for filing separately

This product found so many additional tax deductions I was never aware of. It increased my return by 15-20%.
What's great about it: Easy to use, walked me through step-by-step, and found deductions I never used before.

My second year of using TurboTax and worth every nickel of it. Lays it all out and could not be more foolproof.
What's great about it: Oh so easy. You really don't miss anything.
What's not so great: The only con was I had to PAY!
