State Return needs better attention

From my employer I receive a NYS CT-34-SH along with the Federal K-1 1120S. There was no clear way to input the information from the CT-34-SH in the Turbo Tax. After consulting with a tax specialist, I was able to verify the shareholder income was carried into the state return, however, it was unclear if I was able to take all of the credits available for NY residents.
I have always used TurboTax but this is the first year as a company shareholder.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax easy to use either filling in forms or EasyStep
What's not so great: Limited support for Shareholder information in NYS return. No support for NYS Equivalent K-1

Rounding

The screen for 1098 Q entry rounds automatically without offering the user the choice (as far as i can tell) to enter to the penny. Well, on this screen, the gross distribution less the earnings needs to total to the basis. When you round (vs truncating cents) the math doesnt work!! This leads the user to change one of the dollar values (and thus mis report reality- I have no idean if this is a big deal or not - my guess is no). However, this seems like a rookie mistake for a mature package.
What's great about it: TT good at the basics, workaday drudgery of tax prep
What's not so great: Rounding issue on 1098Q
