Failure and then success

I purchased the disc from an on-line retailer...but it did not load to 100 percent. Customer support from Intuit was excellent and provided me with a download that solved the problem with the disc.
What's great about it: Ease, support
What's not so great: None

I am no tax expert, but Turbo Tax made it easy for me to file my taxes, ask questions, get answers. I have 2 kids in college and Turbo Tax seemed to understand and know my fears of doing it incorrectly. It took the intimidation out of doing my taxes. I actually learned a lot and enjoyed it.
What's great about it: Questions were easily answered and tips were everywhere. Explainantions were fairly easy to understand.
What's not so great: Some terminology was more difficult for me.

Couldnt find IRA deduction information. Need detailed specific reasons related to information placed in the system. Like cant use IRA you make to much! ETC
What's great about it: Easy to use and get through quick
What's not so great: Be more specific why you cant use a deduction, also offered information about IRA and then went back to see if it wouldT

I hate doing taxes, especially when I owe, but with Turbotax, the pain doesn't last as long. It is super easy to navigate through the software, so you can get it done in no time at all!!
What's great about it: Turbotax makes it easy.
What's not so great: Owed money, but that is not your fault.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My Experience With Turbo Tax

Altogether I like Turbo tax and I buy it every year. I don't find it as hard to use as other tax software. I do with tho that when I am comparing filing with or without my husband that I didn't have to always reenter the information of mine. It is a hassle.
What's great about it: quick and easy to transfer information and retrieve information
What's not so great: not able to put in information once and then do your return either with your spouse or without your spouse
